New Dharma Introductory Call

Tanya McGinnity

I had no idea what I was jumping into when I went to my first retreat with Sat Shree and Satyamayi in Knock, Ireland — my native land. What I did feel was that Sat Shree saw right through me straight away, calling out my drama, my constant doing and my compensating structures of exercise, excess and “ego-ing”.

It is hard fo me to express in words the extent of my gratitude and aliveness as a result of walking this transformation process with New Dharma. Resistance, the desire to reach somewhere and my ‘rajas’ are also constant companions on the path. Sat Shree´s teachings through The Bhagavad Gita and The Mother Book are structured maps for me to constantly remember to fully inhabit my body and my respons-ability to constantly be reclaiming and owning my conditioned beliefs and judgements.

There is no greater work or leadership than to wake up to the truth of who we are right now and not stay small in the little self. Thanks to the guidance and grace of Sat Shree and Satyamayi I am empowered to play my part, to be real, to examine my projections onto others and the world around me so that I can be more useful, and have the courage to live from my heart allowing it to burst open and express the longing and love that I am. My work is to simplify my life and to sit twice a day to be silent and still and listen.
