India 2020 - Global Training Program Application

PHASE ONE: Preparation – India

You may select one or both sessions but only a limited number of individuals will be selected for both sessions.  

  • Session 1: December 29, 2019 – January 24, 2020
  • Session 2:  January 29 – February 26, 2020

Each Session begins at 7 pm on the first day and ends at 7:30 am on the final day. There will be a remote option available for those unable to attend the India portion in person

NOTE:  Completion of the India portion of Phase One is a prerequisite for acceptance into the Washoe Valley portion of the GTP.


  • Minimum of one year of participation with Sat Shree and New Dharma 
  • Attendance at a minimum of one six-day or one nine-day retreat
  • An extended stay (7+ day) with Sat Shree in India or Washoe Valley
  • Interview
  • Approval by Sat Shree

$2,000 General
$1,700 WV Resident
$1,250 Commuter (arranges own accommodations)
$1,000 Scholarship

In-person retreat fees are per 4-week session and include: GTP training, lodging (shared), bed, clothing storage, shared bath, kitchen, laundry facilities, basic household cleaning supplies, utilities. Transport to and from Chennai airport. Programs including daily meditations and satsangs, public talks, small groups, intensives, other. There are limited single room options available for an additional fee of $300.  

Fee DOES NOT INCLUDE:  food, personal toiletries, insurance of any kind; local transport

Remote retreat fees are per 4-week session and include: training, small group participation, individual and group mentoring, and other  events as determined.

The GTP remote will also include: access to satsangs, intensive, SAT Weekend and public talks. These can accessed live or by replay through Sat Shree Live/Crowdcast.

Due to the time difference between India and other locations, the remote program will operate separately. The schedule for the remote program will be determined based on who has been accepted into the program and their locations.
